App is not very responsive

The scroll bars showing you more information on each shark dont scroll?? Overall, this would be a really cool app, it just needs to function properly. Im using it on my iPad right now. However, this morning I wasnt able to get it to work on my iPhone at all either.

Also, theres a feature you can click on in the home screen that says something like bring it to life but when I clicked on it, all it shows on the screen is "Aurisma"? Now I cant even get back to the the shark tracking screen. Might end up uninstalling if its not fixed. :(
