OCEARCH Shark Tracker App Reviews

This used to be a great app but now not so much. I used to be able to tap on an icon on the map and immediately see what shark that was. That no longer works. Now you have to click through the full list of all the sharks to try to find the particular one youre looking for. Seems like it hasnt been updated for iOS 10 and it really needs it.

Great organization, but this app is basically useless. Nothing works.

Have deleted and downloaded 4x on my iPhone SE. Map shows but clicking on pings does nothing.

Please Update the App! It hasnt worked properly in months!

You used to be able to look at the information about each individual shark and now you cant. Please fix it! I like knowing information about the sharks!

This app used to work great, but I just re downloaded it and it doesnt work at all. I cant click on/open the shark tags on the map.

I used to use this app a lot. It is so frustrating I hardly try anymore. The scroll function wont work so you cant use the search feature.

You can no longer see info about the sharks, timeline of their track, etc. what happened? Terrible app now.

I use to enjoy this app, however it no longer brings up the shark when you select the ping. Living in Florida its nice to know whats around Last year we were swimming near Anna Marie Island and found out so was Katherine. Please fix the mobile app so I can use it again.

Its really surprising to see how far sharks roam in the open ocean! Just wish I could see name labels on the main map when I zoom in on a certain shark. Of the scientists who tagged them would like to share with us Id love to read what they have to say

I truly enjoyed this app for the first couple years I had it. Now it is pretty useless You no longer can tap the " red dot" and see the pics of that shark , what it is and so forth. How can anyone appreciate MaryLee, Katherine or Lydia if they cant see what they are. I have even purchased merchandise off this site... I used to be a regular. Now I might look once every 2-3 weeks. Come on guys. Seems like the more you tag the less we know! --- Hopeful in NC

Most of the useful features are gone. Poor execution of a good idea, and never improved.

Oh, pitty. Could be such a nice native front-end for this impressive projects data. Unfortunately its just a browser session within an app, giving the same experience as on their web presence. Never mind, the project by itself gets a 5star rating. Martin

Protect Sharks!

Only shows sharks logged in September, nothing newer. And doesnt update. Boring.

Terrible app. These guys go on CNN and promote this app, but it hasnt been updated since September! Lame! Who the is running the PR over there? Missed opportunity.
